The magic of an asymmetric top

More from Tel Aviv Fashion Week!

I love the interesting juxtaposition of the formal blazer and serious pleated trousers with the asymmetrical "party" top. This is how you make a black suit (or any suit!) more interesting: add an interesting or an edgy top.

Debbie isn't in fashion - though she looks like it. She's a doula with great style. She had actually planned on wearing an evening gown to this event, but was convinced by her husband to wear this outfit instead. Her husband, a photographer with an eye for fashion, acts as her own personal stylist, advising her on what to buy and what to wear.

I think we could all do with a photographer husband who can tell us what to wear and then make us look like models, no?
