Black and gray on a rainy day

It was a gray, overcast, drizzling day in Siena when I met Laura. Laura lives in Florence, but traveled to Siena with her husband to spend the day. She was just as adorable in person as she appears in the photos.

Laura was dressed in black and light gray, with her scarf pulling the outfit together with the two colours. Her outfit really fit the mood of the day. One of the things that adds interest to her outfit is that even though she's only wearing 2 different colours, her accessories add texture. Her bag is velvet. Her shoes are a mix of patent leather and matte. Adding texture will always make a monochromatic or duochromatic outfit a lot more interesting.
