Finally, a man with style

This handsome devil is for all the people who asked: "Why do you only photograph women?"

My answer, to date, has been, "Because I haven't found any men I wanted to photograph."

Until now. 

I was walking down Jaffa around lunchtime, and I came across Eldad, holding court over a group of friends, regaling them with some story or other. Eldad is a self-proclaimed exhibitionist and claims to have been photographed by every photography school in Jerusalem. And I don’t doubt it! 

He was born on the very same day as the nation of Israel, and will turn 74 next week. He has always loved style and fashion and being colourful. 

That cane he carries? It's for effect (not out of need) - he's carried one since he was 10! 

In case you're wondering what he did for a living - he was a building inspector. (I confess I was a teeny bit disappointed to hear that! But I'm sure he brought a ton of colour and joy to every building site he visited.)
